Cinémathèque – Open-Air Cinema in the centre of Toulouse

As every year, the city of Toulouse organises an open air cinema from 5th July to 24th August at the Cinémathèque, 69 rue du Taur. The usually show old classic from Bonnie and Clyde, Robin Hood and much more. Check the full programme here.

Open-Air Cinema in Toulouse and Haute-Garonne

From 20th July to 25th August, Biblioplage is installed at Toulouse Plages. A great way to discover books, magazines, comic books, books in a foreign language and much more.

31 notes d’été – free music festival 

This free festival from 5th July to 31st August, offers concerts, danse and circus performances and street art in several special locations, such as Château de Laréole, Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges or the Musée de l‘Aurignacien.

Wam Park

Wam Park is located at the lac de Sesquières and offers all kind of different water activities. Looks like a lot of fun!


Nocturnes at the Cité de l’Espace

Every Thursday until 23rd August, the Cité de l’Espace opens in the evening until 23h. Different animations, observation of the sky with a telescope and much more can be discovered during this time.
The Cité de l’Espace is of course also open every day of the week during the day.

Les fantaisies du château 

From 1-3rd August, the castle in Montricoux opens its doors to the public. Circus workshops, theatre pieces and much more are offered during the three days. The full programme here.


Open every day from 10h30-19h, Animaparc is a theme park, dinosaurus park and animal park. A lot of fun for the full family at only 35min from Toulouse. All info here.


Tepacap is a lot of fun for kids and adults alike, because who doesn’t like to climb up trees and go on a flying fox across the woods? They have different options for all ages.

Quai des Petits at Quai de Savoirs

The Quai de Savoirs offers holiday activities for 7-13 years olds from 8h30 to 18h. Every week the programme changes. Find the full programme here.

The Quai des Petits (2-7 years) is also open during the holidays and is a lot of fun. You need to reserve in advance here.

Halle de la Machine

You have probably seen the minotaure and the spider in the streets of Toulouse. However, if you haven’t, you are now able to visit the Halle de la Machine at their permanent location in Montaudran.

Aquapark in Thoux-Saint-Cricq

This aquapark belongs to the nearby camping, however it can also be used by external visitors from 11am. It is nicely located at a lake, so that visitors can either sunbath at the lake, rent some Stand Up Paddles, try Windsurfing or enjoy the waterpark.

Aqualand Agen

The Aqualand is located in Agen (around 1h drive from Toulouse) and is the perfect destination on a hot day. Directly next to it is the amusement park Walibi, which could also be interesting for a family trip.

Ludothèque Blagnac 

The Ludothèque in Blagnac is a great place to come and play with your kids. They offer over 5000 games for the little one’s to play with. Note: they only open from 17th August again.

Ferme Pédagogique de Cinquante

The Ferme 50 is a little petting zoo located in Ramonville Saint Agne. It is open from 10h-18h30 from Tuesday to Sunday.

Labyrinth de Merville

Two different labyrinths are offered. One to discover the castle and its history and one with divers enigmas. Open every day from 10h30-19h30. All info here.

La village gaulois / The Gallic Village

The village gaulois is a great way for your kids to discover the history of the gallic. Eco-museum, archaeological park and cultural park in one, the gallic village offers you a great day activity for your family.

Open air bars

There are so many great open air bars in Toulouse. You can find a selection of this year’s best spots, including bars like La Centrale, L’Ecluse, Les Terasses de l’Atelier, Canaille Club and many more here.



Le Caracol is a pilates studio close to Compans Cafarelli / Canal de Midi which offers a pilates class every day at 12h30 for 10€.

  • Yoga ♡ sur l’herbe at Compans-Caffarelli (on 4th and 25th August) by Sattva Yoga from 10h30-12h.

The city of Toulouse offers great sports facilities for free. You can for example play beach volleyball for free at the Prairie des Filtres during Toulouse Plage or on the Ile du Ramiers near to the stadium, or you can pleay tennis for free at the Ramée. Find the full list here.
